It is VERY important that Ubuntu is properly uninstalled, or else you will not be able to boot into Windows. This will tell you how to properly uninstall Ubuntu.

Wine

Wine does not require Microsoft Windows, as it is a completely free alternative implementation of the Windows API consisting of 100% non-Microsoft code…” Basically, Wine is capable of running a selection of games and programs meant to run on windows on Linux. Although I have not personally tried it, it looks promising. Check it out over here.
